Brewers-Cubs Game 2 Open Thread

I'm stuck in Pittsburgh but I do have internet access, so how about an open thread? It's Bush versus Wells. The lineup looks pretty solid through 5 and... not so much after that.

For your Milwaukee Brewers:
Rickie Weeks 2B
Corey Hart RF
Ryan Braun LF
Prince Fielder 1B
Casey McGehee 3B
Gregg Zaun C
Carlos Gomez CF
Alcides Escobar SS
Dave Bush P

For the Cubs:
Theriot SS
Fukudome RF
Ramirez 3B
Byrd CF
Nady 1B
Soriano LF
Fontenot 2B
Soto C
Wells P

Go Crew!

Woohoo! And here I thought I'd have to suffer through the comments on jsonline.com to find out how the game is going. No tv and no radio at work is killing me.

Well you have the internet, so you have the gamecast, right?

I'm still concerned that Corey Hart is going to turn back into a pumpkin, but I like him in the #2 spot now.

Negative, it's blocked here much like anything sports related that's not the main Brewers page on jsonline.com or blogs like here and BrewCrewBall.

Zaun is really starting to grate.

Fielder should NEVER slide into home. Ever. Literally not ever.

Geez, not much of anything going on in this game...

Zaun is terrible.

I really distrust catcher intangibles. I would love to see more study (more than the chapter in Baseball Between The Numbers which clearly weighs in against them).

Kendall and Zaun. There had to be better options.

Yeah Weeks!

2-1 Crew.

Well that didn't last long.

Crap. Why is Narveson walking Soto on 4 straight pitches?

DannyNoonan said...

That could have been ugly.

E.S.K. said...

That is Zauntastic!!!

God damnit. Quit loading the bases!

Latroy's magical set-up powers failed. How shocking.

Wasn't our bullpen supposed to be a strength this year?

That was so so brutal

A relative strength, Paul.
