Tonight we have the young Manny Parra against the slightly younger Matt Cain. Cain has already established himself as a top flight starter, and would likely be a #1 on a team that did not have Tim Lincecum. Offense may be tough to come by, but I wouldn't be surprised to see Manny Parra continue the good string of Brewer pitchers hitting. His .226/.250/.371 is slightly worse than Yovani Gallardo's .235/.250/.490, but a few HRs would put them neck and neck.
Let's come home with a series win. Go Brewers!

jason kendall just cannot hit... at all. the brewers have to make a change at catcher-- having the automatic out there will just kill them this year otherwise.
There's nobody here. This is not a baseball town. They just threw out the only other brewer fans in my section
What do Jason Kendall and Pee Wee Herman have in common?
Neither can hit, but they both allegedly handle the staff well.
why not pinch hit for kendall here in the 7th? down 5, 2 on, 1 out. you need lots of runs. why are you carrying a backup catcher and bench players if not to use them here to hit for the player who is probably the worst-hitting starter in the national league?
I don't know, I thought that would actually change under Macha. D'oh.
Ken Macha should use more mescaline
