[Archbishop Tim] Dolan says Catholics attending the home opener, or just with baseball fever for the Good Friday, April 10th game against the Chicago Cubs, still ought to abstain from meat and poultry.
"I think instead of eating the sausages or hot dogs that day, they just should say a prayer for the Brewers success this season," said Dolan.
If we don't eat brats on opening day, the terrorists will have won.

I think that's a fair compromise for Catholics.
Eh, I'm mostly joking around, but you'd thing the guy would make an exception for opening day. It's a very important day. :)
I bet if he was still in Milwaukee he would. He's now the most important Catholic in America, with a very direct line to the Pope. I doubt he's down for too much joking around about this kind of stuff.

It's a good thing that he is still just a man and we shouldn't give a shit whether he has a sense of humor or not.
I was going to dress like Jesus at the game and hold up a sign that says "I died for your sins and all I got was a couple of loge outfield seats." In honor of Good Friday of course.
You think that joke might be lost on some?
I'd laugh.
You know the Pope is/was a Nazi you would think he would understand the whole sausage thing look the other way ;)
To be clear, I think he was a "Hitler Youth." And I don't think this Tim Dolan dude was anything like that.
You have no sense of humor Danny
