Since the Cards are only paying him a pro-rated minimum, that's $237,000 or so that won't have to come out of Attanasio's pocket anymore. Of course, that still leaves the Brewers on the hook for almost $9.4 million ($7.4 million for the rest of this season, $2 million to buy out the club option next year).
