Truth is, I don't blame the writers. They need an editor who tells them when their crap is unreadable. Since the editor skews toward unreadable output himself, the results are understandable.
What on earth is going on in this column. I believe this is my least favorite sentence:
As for the Cubs, their slow build from 2007 looks like it again may be in play. What on earth does this mean? And when will the Brewers get their slow build into play?

I couldn't even piece together half of what he was trying to say. He had to be wasted when he turned that in.

It's so hard to say it's his worst column ever, because so many of his columns are so bad.
