For the first time ever, I want to use an emoticon, the frown-face one. Unless there's a deal for a full-time 3b going on behind the curtain, letting him go makes no sense, especially given his cost and the fact that the Mariners only gave him a one-year deal.
Perhaps we kept the wrong guy in the front office. Russ is an especially useful AL player. Chris, without Russ last year they do not make the playoffs. Simple as that. Long live 3TO.
Eric it never amazes me how stupid you can be. I have hated Branyan for ever trust me and no tracker I did not shoot a deer but I did see the largest black bear I have ever seen in the wild walked right under my stand cool and scary at the same time.
I would rather bet something you drink if that is ok with ESK
Say a bottle of liquor or case of beer of your choice with in reason
I will accept a case of Guinness as my winnings
Does that work for you Two? Name what you want as your reward if you win and I will accept the stipulation that ESK noted injury or trade and all bets are off
Uhhh Anon as usual you do not know what you are talking about you can buy Guinness by the case(in cans) from any Sams Club in the Nation I have half of one in my pantry now I just bought it awhile ago so have no idea what it cost :)
Damn you Jack Z!

ReplyDeleteIt really is dumb. He's cheap and vastly underrated. Why give up a power-hitting lefty that plays 3rd base?
ReplyDeleteYou do not know how happy this news made me on so many different levels
ReplyDeletePlus it warmed my heart knowing how depressed ESK and you will be
Truly a great day
Well at least somebody's happy. You shoot a deer Chris?

ReplyDeleteObviously Chris isn't a true Brewers fan. I suspect he's a Russel Branyan fan and will cheer for any team on which Branyan plays.
ReplyDeleteIn other news... Don Money was promoted to AAA

ReplyDeleteSuch an odd response for a move that clearly makes the Brewers a worse team.
ReplyDeleteWho wants to bet Branyan is cut by Seattle before the All-Star game?
ReplyDeleteI see Irony is a lost art with some folk
ReplyDeleteI'll take that bet.
ReplyDelete$100 says Branyan is on the Mariners at the All Star break.
Season ending/rehab requiring injury and or trade nullifies the wager.
I want some of that action too. What are the stakes Chris?

How much is a case of Guinness (I want to pick a like-priced bottle of booze).
ReplyDeleteI will have to check I have not bought one recently but we have time to work out the details
ReplyDeleteUhhh, good luck finding a case of Guiness. I think you'll be stuck buying six 4-packs (at about 6 to 8 bucks each)
