"The Packers were in position to tie the score after Fred Vinson recovered an onside kick. After doing so, the Packers had possession at their own 43-yard line. After moving the ball to the Cowboy 41, Favre took a shot at the end zone as Donald Driver beat Deion Sanders down the field, but the pass landed out of the end zone incomplete.
"Favre bounced back with a completion to Bill Schroeder to the Dallas 25-yard line. The next play Favre was intercepted by Teague dashing any hopes for a fourth last second touchdown drive."
2004, Packers won 41-20 on their way to a 10-6 record. Dallas stumbled to 6-10

ReplyDeleteYeah, I realized it was waytoo late after I wrote it. Aikman was probably in the booth by that point. Did we ever play an Aikman team in Green Bay?

In 1999 they beat us in Green Bay behind Jason Garrett. It was the year the Cowboys made the playoffs at 8-8.

ReplyDeleteGreen Bay beat Dallas 45-17 in 1997 on the Frozen Tundra with Aikman at QB and the rest of the Triplets as well, Michael Irvin and Emmitt Smith.
