Sadly, nobody told Sveum that Hamels has reverse platoon splits.
Gwynn, Brad Nelson make NLDS roster. Dillon, Kapler, Branyan, Sheets do not.
ReplyDeleteKapler, Branyan hurt. Dillon is Dillon.
ReplyDeleteHow the Brewers' pen is used will be the intriguing story of this series.
So has Sheets pitched his last game as a Brewer? Is the China Doll wearing pinstripes in ’09?
ReplyDeleteidiots say things like china doll
ReplyDeleteIt's China Doll. Proper nouns start with capital letters. If you think I'm an idiot, fine. I'm willing to own it. i r 2 idiot 2 seez cleerly lix youz. Don't grow up ESK. Maturity can only tarnish your impish charm.
ReplyDeleteAnd as Oswaldo José Guillén Barrios says: Cachorros de la mierda el lado sur normas.
that was a joke, you must not have been part of the "dumb nicknames are dumb" discussion
ReplyDeleteBut is it a dumb nick name when it turns out to be true?
ReplyDeleteThe China Doll could not even stay healthy during a contract year.
and no one is happier about it than you.
ReplyDeleteToo bad they took 2 of 3 from your Cubs at the end there though. I imagine you're coming up with all kinds of clever like Weurtzless and Bobby Whory to complain about the loss on Sunday.
Id still take him back, especially since he just got cheaper

ReplyDeletethe last month of Chris posts there is a pretty funny read in retrospect. Blind faith and polyanna-ism won out in the end.
I'd sign Sheets to a 1 year deal with a club option for the second. Give him $10 million.
No way he takes that though.
My Cubs that is funny. Using the wrong bait there but you were never as smart as you thought you were.
ReplyDeleteNo what got them into the playoffs was CC being out of this world and the unexpected return of Yo to the starting line up and one amazing night by Suppan and McClung. Ben Sheets almost cost them this chance. Hell the Mets bullpen should get more credit for the Brewers being in the playoffs then Sheets.
They offense is still anemic at best the starting pitchers cannot give up more than 3 runs or they are screwed.
I think it is wonderful they made it but I am sure you were certain they would get in before Braun hit that home run. They made it but by living on the razors edge.
I never wanted them(The Brewers) not to make it I just felt they would fail again and they almost did Hell for the first time in 26 years you blind faith types were right you should enjoy it.
I have to admit Eric I do not miss our little talks can I call you Eric
Well enjoy the playoffs I know I am and keep being the spoiled little rich kid ESK lol.
You are what you are Mark M hit it on the head with you. You are nothing more than a loud frat boy who loves to tell everyone what you think
Go Brewers
You are what you are Mark M hit it on the head with you. You are nothing more than a loud frat boy who loves to tell everyone what you think
ReplyDeleteaside from the frat part, that is Gods truth right there. But I would add that I also like to tell other people how they should think.
I was wondering if you ever considered changing the layout of your
ReplyDeleteblog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But
maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better.
Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or 2 images.
Maybe you could space it out better?
