Open Thread Of Much Wailing, And Gnashing Of Teeth

CC is pitching on short rest tomorrow, but for tonight it's Jeff Suppan pitching in the teeny-tiniest stadium out there. Jeff, for God's sake, keep the ball down. Oh, and don't walk anybody.

Bad as it looks right now, this thing is not over yet. The Mets still have their tough stretches, and they can be caught. Meet the new lineup, same as the old lineup:

CF Mike Cameron
2B Ray Durham
LF Ryan Braun
1B Prince Fielder
SS JJ Hardy
RF Corey Hart
3B Craig Counsell
C Jason Kendall
P Jeff Suppan

  2. Eh, it's Friday night. People got stuff to do. I won't be around for most of the game.

  3. Also, the decision to watch the last game probably took a few months off of most of our lives.

  4. The good news is that we might be able to get an extra start out of CC if he goes on short rest the rest of the way.

  5. But is Maddux smart enough to work CC like a rented mule?

  6. No, but he might have no choice.

  7. Doesn't Suppan develop special powers or something near the end of the season?

  14. Timely promo of the night - learn CPR at Miller Park tomorrow.

It's bad when Rock is questioning the wisdom to keep Kendall in the game.

I just could not resist leaving at least one comment for the Pollyanna crowd.

  19. what every Danny you should be proud of what you destroyed.

And it was you showing up that destroyed it. ESK had to try to out asshole you and it all went to shit But I am done fighting with you on that.

If anything I should thank you Danny I have actually enjoyed the last week being free of the blog and not really being all that tied up in the Brewers has been liberating to say the least, life is actually pretty damn good post WSB.

enjoy your winter Danny and I mean that.

Just remember kids you have to post every day or you will never build any traffic you can live for a while on what you leached off of the WSB but that will not keep you going for ever.

And you have to post even when they lose :) You cannot pretend it did not happen.

    enjoy your weekend Gents
